PERSONAL TECHNOLOGIES

• Driver Information Center (DIC) – Drivers can select multiple

displays and monitoring functions – including a digital

speedometer, driving range, tire pressure and more. Standard

on all models.

• Bluetooth for Phone – Wirelessly connects a compatible

Bluetooth cell phone to the vehicle’s audio system. Standard

on all models.

• USB port – Connects compatible iPod/MP3 devices to the

vehicle’s audio system and provides display and control

through the radio or steering wheel controls. Standard on

all models.

• OnStar Directions & Connections – Now standard for the first

six months on all models including LS. Combines all the Safe &

Sound Plan services with Turn-by-Turn Navigation and eNav.

• Mobile apps – With two new apps, Equinox owners can access

their vehicle information and OnStar services right from

their smartphones. The myChevrolet and OnStar RemoteLink

mobile apps, available as free downloads, provide drivers

with unprecedented connectivity to their vehicles from their

Android or Apple iPhone device.

– The myChevrolet app helps locate the nearest dealer,

schedule routine maintenance and contact roadside

assistance quickly and easily. With its helpful Find My Car

feature, you can mark parking spots and set parking meter

alarms. The myChevrolet app also includes a direct link to

the OnStar mobile app.

– The OnStar RemoteLink app puts unprecedented control

in the Equinox owner’s hands by remotely accessing the

vehicle’s OnStar technologies. Owners can send remote

vehicle commands such as unlocking or locking doors

and starting the engine. In addition, owners access key

diagnostic information, including fuel tank level and

range, remaining oil life, current and recommended tire

pressure and lifetime average miles per gallon. The OnStar

RemoteLink app requires an active OnStar subscription.

It’s important to note that the OnStar RemoteLink

smartphone integration is not available with the Color

Touch Navigation Radio.

• Adaptive Remote Vehicle Start – Allows Equinox to be started

from over 195' away. Using the automatic climate control, the

system can automatically begin to heat or cool the interior to

a preset temperature. It can even turn on the available heated

seats if selected from the vehicle personalization menu.

Standard on 2LT and LTZ.

AUDIO AND ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEMS

• Audio system – AM/FM/SiriusXM Radio stereo with CD player

and MP3/WMA playback capability, Graphic Interface Display

(GID), Radio Data System (RDS), speed-compensated volume,

auxiliary input jack and outside temperature display. Standard

on LS.

• Chevrolet MyLink Radio – Standard on LT and LTZ. AM/FM/

SiriusXM Radio with CD player and MP3 playback capability, 7"

diagonal color touch-screen display, Radio Data System (RDS),

speed-compensated volume, auxiliary input jack and outside

temperature display. Provides access to internet radio apps,

including Pandora and Stitcher, through Android or Apple

devices. For convenience, app functions are managed through

the radio’s controls, not through the phone. Includes wireless

Bluetooth for Phone and audio streaming, enhanced voice

recognition, photo viewer and Gracenote music-recognition

technology.

• Chevrolet MyLink Radio with Navigation – Includes all the

features of the Chevrolet MyLink Radio plus a GPS navigation

system. Available on 2LT and LTZ.

• NavTraffic – Standard on all models equipped with a screen-

based navigation system and includes three trial months of

service. NavTraffic enhances the vehicle’s GPS navigation

system by showing continuously updated traffic data when it’s

• Rear-Seat Entertainment System – Upgraded for 2013.

Requires Chevrolet MyLink Radio with Navigation and

perforated leather-appointed seating. Available on

2LT and LTZ.

• Pioneer premium 8-speaker system – A powerful audio system

enhancement that features a 250-watt amplifier, mid-range

speakers in each door, tweeters mounted on the A-pillars, a

center channel speaker and a subwoofer with equalization.

Standard on 2LT and LTZ; available on 1LT.

• SiriusXM Radio – Standard on all models. Includes a 3-month

trial subscription. Includes Travel Link and TuneSelect with

Travel Link as part of the 3-month trial. Both features are on

the Chevrolet MyLink radio with and without navigation. Find
