2013 CHEVROLET EQUINOX

OVERVIEW

Since its last update for the 2010 model year, Equinox has been

a consistent favorite with the buyers of compact SUVs as well

7. 3.6L SIDI V6 engine – While competitors like the 2013

Ford Escape and Honda CR-V do not provide V6 engine

availability in their lineup, and Toyota RAV-4’s V6 is

significantly underpowered, Equinox gets a new 3.6L SIDI V6

with Variable Valve Timing (VVT) and Spark Ignition Direct

Injection (SIDI) to provide capability, high output and fuel

efficiency. With this engine, Equinox LT and LTZ models

offer the most powerful V6 in their class.

8. Standard safety features – All Equinox models provide

a high level of safety with six air bags, StabiliTrak with

Rollover Mitigation, traction control, ABS and 4-wheel

disc brakes.

9. Enhanced safety features – Are available through the

new Safety Package that includes Forward Collision Alert,

Lane Departure Warning and rear park assist. These safety

features are standard on LTZ.

10. Power Convenience Package – Adds to the functionality and
