Now that you’ve made yourself comfortable, it’s time to familiarize yourself with Malibu’s controls. They give you a high level of

command over a series of Malibu’s functions. A good example is provided by the six-speed automatic transmission on 2LT and LTZ

models. It includes TAPshift

manual shift control with paddles on the steering wheel that enables you to select the desired gear for

performance-like driving or to address speciﬁ c road conditions. There are also steering wheel controls for the sound system on all but LS

models. All these controls allow you to make adjustments without taking your hands off the steering wheel. The same principle applies

to the Bluetooth® wireless mobile phone connectivity that’s standard on all but LS models. And you can use the available three-prong

110-volt household power outlet to plug in your electronic devices. Sophisticated controls for a very sophisticated car.

CONTROLS

The 6-speed automatic transmission offers a wide spread in gear ratios. A steep ﬁ rst

gear enhances launch capabilities, while the tall overdrive sixth gear reduces noise,

vibration and enhances fuel efﬁ ciency, standard on 2LT and LTZ, available on 1LT.

Bluetooth wireless connectivity enables you to answer and end calls without touching

your compatible mobile phone, by using the steering-wheel-mounted sound system

controls. Bluetooth is standard on LT and LTZ models.
